Got a package

Here is what J.Psent me. I won the drawing he had with the yarn he frogged. I think it looks pretty and James really likes it to. So I have more sock yarn and another order for socks.

Not only am I backed up on sock orders, I am backed up on quilt orders to. I am getting way behind on the quilting. Some time next week I am going to my grandmothers house to pick up more fabric. So then I'll know I will have plenty to make 2 queen/king size quilts.

The people who want me to make these quilts don't know how long it takes from start to finish. When I made one for James' birthday last year it took me over 3 months to finish it. But that was partly because I was doing it by hand. Then good 'ol Granny gave me her old sewing machine and I zipped right on. I made a quilt for Landen before he was born. But a baby quilt is nothing to make. I think it took me a weekend to finish his.

Well I'm off to get all the quilting stuff together in one place so I know what I still need.
