Start Of A New School Year

Well tomorrow is the first day of school for the girls. They are both really excited to go. (I know that feeling wont last to much longer.) So today, I will be getting the last minute things for the girls. Well the only things I forgot to get were the juice boxes and new socks. So my shopping trip will be short.

Since Makayla will be going to school all day, I have to pack her a lunch every day. I rather pack her lunch than let her eat the infamous school lunch. I remember when I went to school how bad the food was. I know now a days, they are serving healthier foods. But I still don't trust it.

Towards the last few days of school last year, I walked buy the cafeteria and it still smelled the same from 20+ years ago. I don't know if they still serve the same foods, or that smell is a permanent fixture to that room.

Makayla gets on the bus a little before 9am. Bryanna gets on the bus a little after 1. But here is the bad thing. They both get off two different buses at two different ends of the street. Bryanna's bus drops her off in front of the house. While Makayla's bus drops her off all the way at the other end of the street. Our street isn't very long. There are a total of 10 houses on the street. So hopefully, there will be at least five minutes in between drop offs.

I guess I'm off to get the things I forgot and to make sure everyone has what they need for school tomorrow.

Hi! I saw your comment over on monkey sock swap about the sock on 3 dpn's. I do it all of the time, because I find 4 too clumsy. Here's what you do..
set up like this: 16, 32, 16 and on the 32 needle, put a marker between the first 16 and the 2nd 16 and go through the pattern, using the marker as a delination between the 2 sets of 16 stitches.
if you're confused, email me, I'll clarify! I'll even take photos!
