With a little help from James, I made me a swift! Yipee! No more using the back of the kitchen chair. With all the yarn my Sister sent me, I needed to wind it into balls. With the back of the chair, it would have taken me pretty much all day to do it. Since I have the lovely internet, I found directions on how to make a homemade swift. I found the directions here. The directions are on the side bar under patterns.
I made a few changes, but it works the same. Now all I have to do is get me a ball winder and I'm set.
