Well... Damn!

I started knitting Lamar's socks last night. As most people know, Opal yarn is mostly wool. I thought I just had a mental thing with wool. As I was knitting along. I stopped and took a little break, to rest my hands. Well I look down and I saw that my hands were all red and itched like hell. I showed James my hands and he said something like, if ya knew you were allergic to wool why did you buy it. So I told him my theory about it being a mental thing. He just shook his head and continued to watch tv.

I called Lamar and told him about the problem I was having. He laughed at me and made a few jokes about it. But he still really wants those socks. So if I just get some gloves and knit with the gloves on things will be alright. So my goal today is to get some disposable latex gloves. Then I'm going to poke tiny holes in them, so I can knit without my hands getting all sweaty. If that don't work then I'll have to trade the yarn with someone. Sound like a plan? It does to me.
